Step by step directions for adding a search box to your The Express Page Web site:

Please note: The Express Page does not support JavaScript code. So, please use the HTML version of your search box.

1. Print this page for easier reading.

2. Log into your siteLevel account.

3. Click on the "Search Box Options" tab, and click on the "Use Search Box HTML Source" link.

4. Highlight the code for your HTML search box and, at the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and "Copy" to copy your search box code.

5. Visit http://www.expage.com and login to your account.

6. On the toolbar at the top, choose "Middle" (to edit the middle of your homepage).

7. In the "Text" section, put your cursor where you would like to add your search box.

8. At the very top of your Web browser window (in the top toolbar), click on "Edit" and "Paste" to paste your search box code.

9. Click on the "Save Middle Section" button at the bottom.

10. Look in the preview section of the screen and check the layout of your search box.  If you are happy with the placement of your search box, then you have successfully added your search box to your page.

If you would like to change the placement of your search box, please delete the code (starting with "<!-- Begin siteLevel HTML Searchbox Code -->" and ending with "<!-- End siteLevel HTML Searchbox Code -->"), and try again, starting with Step 6 above.

Congratulations!  You have successfully added your search box to your site!
